If you’re a long time visitor of Jackson Hole, then you know that Fine Dining’s Rendezvous Bistro was an absolute must on your dining out roster. It’s also a Local favorite! With the new Cloudveil Hotel opening, Gavin Fine jumped at the chance to move the restaurant to this new epic Town Square location, where The Bistro now resides. Let’s check out the new space and some of the new dishes – don’t worry, a lot of the old fan favorites are still on the menu!
We rode our bikes to The Bistro which is such a fun way to start a date night, and were blown away by the new interiors. The space really feels like you are in Europe with a massive bar, bistro tables, and black and white tiles throughout. There is a great back room that is perfect for private dining as well as a really charming outdoor dining area. They are now offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus late night nibbles for hotel guests. Overall, this new space is well designed and really welcoming!
My favorite items on the menu have always been the tartares – both the tuna and the steak with their crunchy potato chips. Good news, tartares are still on there! Along with other favorites like the raw oyster bar, their Wednesday night fried chicken special, and the bar steak, but really that just names a few. We were lucky enough to be guests of the Bistro to taste test a lot their menu, which has so many new delicious dishes as well. I’m very excited to try them for breakfast!
A few of our favorites were:
- Rose French 75 – the perfect summer drink
- Dozen oysters on the half shell – Adamo ate most 🙂
- Tuna Tartare, duh, I always order even if I’m just coming here for a drink. I can’t help myself!
- The Bistro Burger is amazing
- Lamb Chops for me – deserve a *chef’s kiss*
- Pork Chops for Adamo
- Oh! and their mac n cheese was perfection. Do yourself a favor and add as a side, yum!
- We ended the night with neapolitan profiteroles for the finale.
The food and space is divine but what really sets this restaurant apart if the waitstaff. They have the best servers and bartenders in the valley, in my opinion. If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, family, or a hot date, definitely make a reservation!
Local Tip: make a reservation well in advance as they fill up quickly. You can find them on Open Table by clicking this link HERE.
