summer soles: the birkenstock

when it comes to new trends, i’m always reluctant.
i’m worried i’ll look back in 10 years and be like what…was…i…thinking?
i’ve done that more times than i’d like to admit.
plus, the cost per wear on classics is way higher.  am i right or am i right?

but when it comes to old trends making comebacks, i’m always the first in line.
and when it comes to americana, that ain’t going no where.
americana is a classic through and through.
oh, and you can always get away with it out west.

the bootlegger and i are teaming up for a 3 part summer shoe series.
first up, the birkenstock.
i know, i know, they are german or something.
but i think this country adopted them with open arms.
birks are officially back!
