you can never have too many beanies in the mountains. it’s just an unwritten rule for one who dwells in a small cabin in jackson hole and who is perpetually cold. that being said, i’m pretty picky: must be thick enough to do their job, no itchiness allowed on this dome, and handmade with love is a big fat perk. oh, and a funny brand name usually wins me over. behold: the Shi*t That I Knit beanie!
the colors are gorgeous – each handmade with 100% natural merino wool (renewable and durable!) by a group of ladies in Peru. based out of Boston, the lady behind Sh*t provides women the ability to work from home while raising their families, which then in turn makes our heads happy and warm. she also started a knitting program called, Give A Sh*T, that provides meditative knitting kits for young adults battling cancer – melt my heart!
