dust off those old leather sandals from the late 90’s
because birkenstocks are back!
if you’re like me, you’ve got a pair stashed somewhere in your closet,
slightly embarrassed yet a tad proud of the unofficial mountain sandal.
i went to school in boulder….and i live in the mountains….
aren’t i supposed to have at least one pair, just because?
oh the birks….they’re kind of like a right of passage for mountain folk.
a must-have if you will.  (along with the ever so functional chacos)
sometimes comfort out rules style but if you ask me, there are some cute birks out there, see below.
it’s hard to beat the perfectly molded leather for your soles. pun intended.
just please, for the love of good, do not add socks.
