today on Ladies of The Mountains we are talking about our favorite hikes.
the very best day hike in jackson is hands down, jackson peak.
it’s only a couple of hours and offers incredible views of jackson hole.
head up to curtis canyon and veer right at the fork in the road.
you’ll get to a parking lot and just follow the trail all the way up.
this time of year is the best with the cool temps and the aspens changing = vibrant!
goodwin lake is also a great place to picnic or throw in your fly rod.
best to head up with a group of girlfriends, dogs, and life saving trail mix.
don’t forget the bear spray!

Great photos 🙂 Sounds like a perfect hike. We went hiking this weekend too at Savage Gulf in Tennessee. We brought our dog Vera too. It was so much fun!!! I wish I had some girlfriends that loved to hike.
So one of my favorite parts about hiking (besides the stunning picture-worthy views from the top) would be having a real excuse to eat trail mix. Is that weird? Maybe. But eating trail mix while sitting at my desk just doesn’t seem right.
If that is a german shorthair pointer, I am in love. Mine’s name is Stormy but she is a lot more brown with a little bit of white speckles. Awesome post, you ladies of the mountain rock.
