the restaurant world in jackson hole has seriously blown up over the last decade. for living in a small, remote, wyoming town, we have an incredible culinary scene. my recommendations for restaurants for visitors is always endless! the Jackson Hole Food & Wine festival is this weekend, recognizing the amazing foodie talent in this town, while inviting a few celeb chefs to join in on the fun.
the 3 day festival hosts events all over the valley, from exclusive private dinners, and intimate wine and cocktail tastings, to larger events, like SAVOR on the Mead Ranch this Saturday. i’m super excited for this event and you can definitely find me there drinking lots of vinos while grubbing on southern style supper with some of my favorite visiting master chefs. chefs Stuart Brioza & Nicole Kraskinski of State Bird Provisions in San Francisco and chefs Ricky Estrellado & Ryo Hasegawa of Nobu in Manhattan are two of my absolute go-to restaurants while visiting those two cities, so i’m basically not eating until then so i can devour everything they prepare. there are a few tickets left and i’d love to see you there!
for a full list of events, head on over here to purchase tickets. if you’re a local or just in town visiting, this is such a great way to support our local culinary community, while giving back. Jackson Hole Food & Wine will be supporting Hole Food Rescue, a wonderful local non-profit that distributes excess food from our local grocery stories, bakeries, and farms to residents in need.
