Dinner Studio

{ Smoked salmon with creme fraiche, golden beet salad with gorgonzola, and proscuitto wrapped pears.  I’ll take two…..or seven}

ever since launching my businesses last year, my social life has pretty much disappeared.
the responsibilities of owning your own gig can be kind of like having a kid: it’s the only thing you think about, you nurture it in any way possible, you always put it before yourself, and you absolutely love watching it grow.
while i’m truly enjoying the ride, i do know the importance to having a work-life balance, and sadly i’ve been lacking that lately.
fortunately for me, last week’s Dinner Studio got me out on the Town AND talking about biz.

i was honored to be invited to a small gathering hosted by the wonderful Jen Visosky, owner and designer of Grace Home Design, a modern interior design studio.
the guest list included only women, in different areas of business, who all shared one thing in common:  we are all women entrepreneurs in Jackson Hole.
or #GirlBosses as i like to call it.

{the beautiful Jen setting up her night in a feathered skirt, no less!}

we mingled over the loveliest dinner served by the insanely talented Chef Eric Wilson.
the long rustic farmhouse table at the darling Persephone Bakery, was awash in bright spring colors and witty details, with arrangements by florist Lily & Company, cards from M.A.D.E., and decor by Paper & Grace.

it felt so good to chat with other like-minded women on running a small business on topics that included struggles, opportunities, and of course, finding that work-life balance.
Dinner Studio was one of the most inspiring evenings i’ve had in this tiny town.
the night was refreshing, eye-opening, and pretty dang delightful.
thank you to Jen for making the event possible and for adding me in the mix.
can’t wait for the next Dinner Studio!
