it breaks my heart to hear that amazing local businesses are shutting their doors.
small towns can be tough!
one of my favorite places, Shades Cafe, is closing it’s little log cabin this month.
when i stopped in the other day, i soaked in the sun from my favorite sunny seat in all of town.
the cabin may be tiny, but Shades adds so much character to jackson.
i urge all of you locals to stop by for one last eggs benedict or mocha latte.
i’ll sure miss stopping there for a bite to eat before hitting the river in the summers.
you can read more about it here.

I am sorry to hear of your small town’s business loss. We are having one of our small ton bakeries close their doors right after Christmas. A part of me feels as if I didn’t do my part, but I sure as heck tried. Devastating to say the least. I wish the business owners the best of luck.

How sad! that place looks cute. I love your cozy look!
Oh, no! Years ago, I worked at the Teton Science School. I would go into town all the time and eat at Shades. Such great food and people. BLAH!
Wow great post! The place looks so lovely! I love your bag! Just found your blog and really like it! Would you like to follow each other on GFC, Facebook and bloglovin to stay in touch? Let me know, thanks!
