I think it’s fair to say that the number one question I get from followers on instagram is “Who do you recommend for a photographer?” If you’re looking for a family portrait while you’re visiting Jackson Hole, need to get a new Holiday card, want to do a lifestyle shoot for your business, or hosting a big event or wedding, I am more than happy to recommend the following photographers. I’ve worked with a lot of Jackson Hole photographers over the years, both in front of and behind the lens, and I have to say that you cannot go wrong with any of these locals. I wanted to give a list because their styles vary and the overall talent is amazing.
Carrie Patterson
Carrie is a pretty big deal and amazing film photographer. She’s been featured in countless magazines and probably the biggest wedding photographer in the West. I’m a sucker for film photographs and she truly makes the dreamiest images. She shot our engagement photos above! Carrie is a true professional in every since of the word. While her images are top notch, she is the most expensive on my list. Her goal is to create family images that are timeless and every single shot is!

Ashley Merritt
Ashley is my OG photographer, and a big reason why I have a blog and instagram to begin with. I am beyond loyal to her because she is THE BEST. I just adore her, so much so that I flew her to Ireland to photograph our wedding. Her motto is “it’s all about how you make someone feel” when capturing images and I think that’s why I smile anytime I see a photo she’s taken of me – she truly makes you feel so special and beautiful. She photographs on film with a heavy focus on candid, the best images in my opinion! Ashley is amazing with kiddos too for those family sessions.

Lindley Rust
Oh Lindley, there are so many good things to say about Lindley. She is so incredibly fun to shoot with! I’ve loved working with her on blog campaigns, events, and styling interiors. She is now my go-to girl for real estate interior shoots and I swear my listings sell faster because of her photography. Lindley is really professional, has an immaculate eye for details, and is really fun to work with. If she ever asks me to help her with styling, I will drop anything I’m doing to help her just so I can be around her while she works.

Peter Lebozzo
Peter is one of those photographers that you forget is even there, yet he manages to capture literally every moment in time. I love it because I loosen up in front of the camera and can just be myself, which is when I think the magic happens in photography. He’s always down for an adventure and will travel anywhere. He delivers so many incredible images and his turnaround time is really quick.

Sarah Averill
Sarah and I met working with Carrie Patterson as her second shooters for destination weddings. We had THE BEST TIME together, always. She is so chill and knows how to capture everything seamlessly. Cat is pure joy. I don’t know how else to describe her! She is a light and a creative, and she will make you feel like a million bucks.
