A few years ago I was introduced to the most amazing vintage store based in NYC, Upper East Vintage. Hayden, the owner, is a personal stylist with a truly incredible knack for putting together the best looks for any occasion or season. Before a pop-up event here, she sent me a few western vintage looks and I was immediately obsessed. Please go ga-ga over these lewks she put together for me to rock!
This past month she visited Jackson Hole and personally brought me a bag of vintage dresses and skirts to try on, I mean that is some serious customer service! I kept what I liked and shipped back what didn’t work. Her instagram is constantly updated with new pieces and styles, so if you are looking for something, make sure to shoot her a message and she will get right back to you. She will even send you lots of photos of similar items that may work for your shape, size, or event. Over the winter I saw a very special vintage Ralph Lauren sweater and she immediately shipped it to me.
She is so kind and so fun to work with, making it so seamless to shop her inventory. Shopping vintage and supporting a small business is what I’m all about! I’m trying to incorporate more sustainable fashion choices this year and shopping vintage is a huge way to cut down on fast fashion while giving old clothes new life. I kind of love to imagine who these pieces used to belong to and where they have been. Check out the Upper East Vintage instagram here, for the best selection on her closet. Photos are by the one and only Peter Lebozzo!
