the summertime in jackson hole can get busy with events happening almost every night, but one event that i will absolutely not miss, is the annual Dancers’ Workshop Benefit Gala! every year, top dancers from around the country perform for an amazing local cause.
this year, the world-renowned Hubbard Street Dance Chicago takes the stage as the main event and i simply cannot wait! i had the privilege of sitting in on their dance practice over the weekend and snap a few photos of the dancers in actions (maybe my new favorite subject to shoot?!) i only sat in on a few numbers but oh, my gosh, IT IS SO GOOD! the choreography is high energy and beautiful, and how can they move like that?! i can only imagine how fun the main performance is going to be! {ticket info at the bottom of this post}
i grew up taking dance lessons and i remember as a little girl how much confidence dancing gave me. it helped elevate so many other aspects of my life, including sports!, so the Dancers’ Workshop mission pulls at my heartstrings. their mission brings dance to a very small town in Wyoming, with a statewide outreach, to enlighten both children and adults. whether it be dance or fitness classes, a very professional dance company, or world-class performances and workshops for our community to enjoy, the Dancers’ Workshop is providing our community with the beautiful inspirational world of dance.
